The lights flickered on and off in a rhythmic beat. Erika grasped at her head, everything felt it was pulling her head right from her body. Her vision was blurred, and she could begin to feel the cold creeping in from the half shattered cabin surrounding her. Looking out, there were no stars, no planets, no light of any kind, just the void. Even in the most desolate parts of the universal wilderness, there was no dark as all consuming as here.

Slowly clearing the fog of her memories, she began to look around. Her ship, the Nefertiti, was in tatters. Sparks and hanging wires littered the cockpit of the vessel, and she didn't dare look behind to see the hull.

"Luna... How... How long has it been, did we cross the divide?" She asked the ship, but there was no response. Looking down, it seemed the onboard computer was still barely functional, and so the pilot dug into the blackbox logs. It showed the ship going faster, and faster, and faster. Surpassing lightspeed, then warp, then hyperspeed. The speed climbed exponentially for more than an hour before in the blink of an eye, it dropped to nothing.

Wow! This one took a WHILE to finally come to fruition. This has been in full development since pretty much immediately after the release of Vivid Edge. But, between a lot of personal and professional projects, it's been quite a challenge finally getting this album out the door! It's taken a while, but I hope you enjoy the continuation of the Vivid story line!
